A Scoope of the
Archipelago

Seven flavours, seven ways to taste Indonesia

Stretching across more than 17,000 islands between two oceans and two continents, Indonesia is one of the world’s oldest and most layered civilisations — a place where centuries of culture, migration, and nature have woven themselves into everything, including what grows in the ground and what ends up on the table. At The Pala, we tell that story one scoop at a time. Begin with a leisurely walk through our fruit and spice garden, guided by our team through the plants that define the archipelago’s culinary soul. Then settle in and taste your way through our house-made ice cream collection — each flavour rooted in an Indonesian ingredient, each one an entry point into the island’s living history. It is, quite simply, the most delicious way to understand where you are.

The Seven Flavours

Each scoop is crafted in-house from whole ingredients. Choose any three, or take the full journey.

Turmeric The golden thread of Indonesian cooking and healing — warm, earthy, and luminous.
Pala · Nutmeg Born in the Banda Islands, once worth its weight in gold. Aromatic, layered, and quietly complex.
Avocado In Indonesia, avocado is a sweet — blended into drinks and desserts with quiet tropical ease.
Kintamani Coffee Grown in Bali's highlands — bright, clean, and shaped by volcanic soil and cool mountain air.
Durian Infamous and beloved in equal measure. The boldest flavour of the tropics, softened into something surprisingly refined.
Tape · Fermented Cassava Gently sweet with a faint tang — a humble Indonesian tradition, quietly transformed.
