Tea Time at
The Riverside
Where sacred waters meet quiet afternoons
The Pakerisan River has flowed through the heart of Bali’s spiritual life for over a thousand years. Recognised as part of a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, its waters have long been considered sacred — a source of purification, ceremony, and continuity that Balinese culture has built itself around. At The Pala, you are never far from its banks.
Settle into our riverside lawn as the afternoon light softens through the canopy, the gentle sound of the river below and an unbroken wall of forest rising quietly on the opposite bank. There is very little to do here, and that is entirely the point. Let our team bring a selection of teas and house-made pastries to your table, and simply let the stillness find you.
